I’m the owner, administrator, and “Chief Technician” (whatever that means). But I’ll also be your account supervisor and a primary point of contact between you and us (I’m very hands on). In fact, I’ll probably send you a personal email shortly after you sign up to (re)introduce myself and ensure everything is going well. And from then on you’ll have my email address and contact information. Yep, that’s right, you’ll have the owner’s real contact info. If anything ever goes wrong or you become even the slightest bit unsatisfied, you will be able to reach me directly. And I check my email about every 5 minutes (I’m not exaggerating). Not only that, but should you email me (with issues or just to chat), I’ll respond within 24 hours. That is what sets us apart. Our servers are co-located at ThePlanet, which owns and operates two state-of-the-art data centers located in Dallas, Texas.  They offer complete redundancy in power, HVAC, fire suppression, network connectivity, and security.  With over 53,000 sq ft of raised floor between the two facilities, The Planet sits atop multiple power grids driven by TXU electric, with PowerWare UPS battery backup power and dual diesel generators onsite.  Their HVAC systems are condenser units by Data Aire to provide redundancy in cooling along with nine managed backbone providers.  Twelve more third party backbone providers are available in the building via cross connect.  Fire suppression includes a pre-action dry pipe system including VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) and over 700 smoke detectors between the two facilities.  They strictly enforce a Simplx Security badge entry/exit on all doors to the facility.  You can bet that our servers are very secure at this location.
